Recessed Ceiling Lighting. Beautiful Ceiling Lighting That We Love..
Recessed Ceiling Lighting must to be one of THE Coolest Ceiling Lighting Fixtures. I hope like me you simply Love Square Recessed Lighting, Kitchen Ceiling Lighting and Recessed Lighting Spacing for your Home Lighting Layouts.. This type of Lighting is terrific when installed in conjunction with a “Beautiful” Crystal Chandelier. A good tip for working out how far to place your recessed lights apart is by using the following handy guide: Recessed Lighting Spacing 4” diameter fixtures = spaced at 3ft intervals; 6” diameter fixtures = spaced at 4ft intervals and 8” fixtures = spaced at 5ft intervals. General Guide The above formula is only a general guide of course, depending on such factors as the overall size (dimensions) of the room, the ceiling height and also the shape of the room; is there an alcove for instance or a bay etc and so on... Draw Up A Plan Plan out your Recessed Lighting Layout by getting a pen or pencil, and paper, and work out firstly how many Fixtures you will need. Generally, the smaller the room, the smaller that the diameter of the fixtures should be, and the closer together they should be too. A good tip is to take your time when working out your Recessed Lighting Layout plan. If you have a partner ask he or she to go over and review your plan and do not be afraid to start over again if you are not absolutely 100% sure that your plan looks good.
In the Photograph Below see how the Recessed Lights "washover" the wall. This is great if you enjoy reading in bed as it adds extra illumination as seen beautifully in the photo and also looks aesthetically very appealing.
Recessed Ceiling Lighting
Personally I am slow and methodical and usually take a couple of days or even up to a week to complete a lighting layout plan just for one single room! Sometimes when you look at something over again you notice certain subtle things that could make a big difference when it comes to the finished article
Eyeball Recessed Lighting is the most adaptable of the Recessed Ceiling Lighting fixtures. By simply adjusting the direction of the eyeball this allows you to shed light onto objects such as artwork, or a statue, or something similar, or say an area of the room that you want to bring attention to and illuminate. In the delightful Photograph Below Recessed Ceiling Lighting is used in a kitchen and blends in very well with the cupboards and the kitchen decor. They look really nice I think you will agree.
Recessed Ceiling Lighting
Once again it is all about the ambience that you want to achieve but I would recommend that you use the following layout and mixture of fixtures:
* A Single, Central Crystal Chandelier * * Six to Eight Recessed Ceiling Lights, spaced evenly apart * * Four Wall Lights, space two on each of the main facing walls. Please ensure that they match your chandelier * * One, maybe two, Table Lamps * * One or Two Floor Lamps * The above layout, as mentioned earlier, is dependant of course on the size of your room but should be fine for most standard-sized living rooms. The Photograph Below depicts a lovely Crystal Chandelier accompanied by some subtle Recessed Ceiling Lighting. The room is very tastefully decorated and furnished I think you will agree setting a perfect ambience.
Crystal Chandelier and Recessed Ceiling Lighting
*Crystal Chandelier Size?
Width? First of all measure the length of your room, then the width, add the two together and convert the answer to inches. If for example your room is 15ft x 20ft simply add the two numbers together which = 35ft. This means that a good sized chandelier for this room would have a diameter of 35 inches. If your room is say 10ft x 10ft a good diameter size would be 20 inches; 15ft x 15ft would be 30 inches.. and so on… Height? (a)..If your chandelier is NOT going over a table a good rule of thumb is that the bottom tip of the chandelier should be around 7 ft from the floor, give or take an inch or two. (b)..If your fixture IS going over a dining table make sure that the bottom tip of the fixture is around 30” from the top of the table and ideally your tables width should be about 12” wider overall than your chandelier`s width so that there is a gap of 6” on either side. When it comes to Recessed Lighting Design my personal favourites are ones with beautiful Chrome Recessed Lighting Trim accompanied by a delightful and classy Chrome Chandelier. These are excellent when used as Bedroom Lighting Fixtures but can also be used in other rooms of the home. If your ceilings drop is low, say around 8 feet or lower you can always install a flush-mount chandelier which fits snug to the ceiling when there is no height/room for a chain due to a low ceiling where your Recessed Ceiling Lighting is concerned. Once again I am sure you will be delighted with the end product. Just let your creative juices flow and use your artistic license to help bring that WOW FACTOR! to your home and you will have a home lighting layout and wonderful lighting ambience to die for:-).
