Led Street Lighting, Durable, Enduring and Eco-Friendly.

Led Street Lighting is now being utilized by many Governments around the world. The Solar version is very popular because it is virtually maintenance free and is very easy to install because there is no wiring involved. It is also one of the most eco-friendly products on the market today.

As mentioned previously many Governments globally are using led street lighting to illuminate City streets, parks and other outdoor areas to very good effect. One example is the US City of Boston where they have installed 20 Everlight SL-Dolphin led street lighting fixtures.

Led Light Bulbs

Led light bulbs by their very nature are perfect where outdoor lighting is concerned, not just for use as led street lighting. Led light bubs are one of the most rugged and durable bulbs on the market today. Many experts advise where feasible to use them in any lighting fixture whether it be for outdoor use or indoors for that matter.

Boston Goes Led

In the City of Boston`s first cobra-head replacement project the previous 250 Watt high-pressure-sodium-lights fixtures have been replaced by their 128 Watt superior counterparts.

Boston hope to significantly reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, reduce energy costs and help to also significantly shrink our carbon footprint. Led industrial lighting has improved tremendously over recent years, mainly due to massive investment and new technological breakthroughs.

Advantages of Led`sThere is more than one reason why led street lighting has been chosen, one important factor is that unlike fluorescent lighting there is no potentially harmful mercury contained within the bulb so they are much safer for the environment. My personal favourite and the one which I love best is solar led lighting:-). Combining the best of both worlds in Solar Powered Lighting and Led Lighting these terrific outdoor lighting fixtures are both eco-friendly and easy to maintain so it is difficult not to love them really.

Led solar street lighting is environmentally friendly, simple to install and are virtually maintenance free. With most street lighting installation of such fixtures is both expensive and time consuming because pavements and sometimes roads have to be dug up to conceal the wiring. Not so with solar lighting because there is no wiring making them ideal for outdoor use.

The Future is Bright

The future of led lighting seems if you will forgive the pun “very bright” Bearing in mind that led light bulbs have only been around since the early 1960`s they have come a long way since but I think they have much farther to travel and hold such great promise.

Eventually the price of these wonderful little light bulbs will come down dramatically and it is`nt hard to predict that led street lighting will become as commonplace as traditional street lighting is today.

There are a number of led lighting manufacturers around the world and one such company is Inovus Solar. Led house lighting is also becoming increasingly popular both inside and outside of the home. Due to the global need for greener products more and more money is being poured into lighting technology. Led lighting, more than ten times more efficient at using energy than incandescent light bulbs. are high on the list of eco-friendly products. This will help us all in the long run as prices will no doubt be brought down by the global quest to find better and more greener products and by investing in such products we will all be helping to save our planet too, which can only be a good thing.
