Led Landscape Lighting Such As Solar Led Lighting Can Illuminate Your Garden To Beautiful Effect.

Led Landscape Lighting can transform a garden turning it into a stunningly beautiful place at night and models such as led wall lighting, solar led lighting, led deck lighting and other types of led outdoor lighting can highlight sections of your garden to bring out the best in what mother nature has blessed us with.

Solar Led Lighting is a model that I particularly love don`t you:-). There are many designs available in this one particular type, from ones that you just stick into the ground to ones that attach to walls, garden fences, and so on. Most can be relocated so you can for example experiment to find the best spot for them which is very handy.

No Need To Spend A Fortune

Something as simple as the led landscape lighting fixtures seen in the picture below can make a big difference to the way your garden looks at night and it won`t cost you a small fortune to achieve this which is excellent news:-).

Kitchen Pendant Lighting

Solar Walkway Lighting, as seen in the above photo, not only helps to enhance the appearance of your garden pathway and surrounds during nightfall, crucially it also adds the safety element, helping you and your family to tread carefully at night, so as to avoid any unwelcome mishaps.

Deters Burglars and Thieves

In addition to this outdoor lighting such as this will also act to deter burglars and trespassers on your property. Did you know? Some insurance companies will offer a lower insurance premium if you have outdoor garden lighting in place which is also very good news.

Please Ask Yourself This Question...

If you were a burglar looking for a potentially good “target”, which property would you choose, one that is illuminated with garden lighting or one that is in darkness? I think we all know the answer.

Led Landscape Lighting such as the solar ones seen in the delightful photograph below can look very pretty at night when placed alongside a path or used as solar walkway lighting. Being solar powered not only is the energy “free” because it comes from energy stored from the suns rays but there are no messy wires and they are a piece of cake to install in the garden.

Led Landscape Lighting

The key to good landscape lighting is getting the balance right. You won`t want your lighting to be too overbearingly bright but you will want the light to accentuate and highlight all the right features of your garden such as flower beds (beautiful red and pink roses for example), tree-lined pathways and shrubbery etc.

Led Tree Lighting

Led Tree Lighting is another garden lighting fixture that I love don`t you:-). Just a few led tree lights evenly spaced apart around the foot of the tree and some more in a selection of the branches can make your tree come to life at night giving it a beautiful hue in an understatedly way.

Led Landscape Lighting

As you can see in the delightful photograph above led tree lighting is used to stunning effect to illuminate some garden trees. Mother nature and man made technology coming together wonderfully well to highlight the trees beautifully with amazing results.

Led Landscape Lighting Plan

Try to sketch a plan of your garden. It does`nt have to be too professional looking, but merely to give you a general guide as to where you will want to install your led landscape lighting and how many lighting fixtures will be required. Much will depend of course on how big your garden is, if your garden have trees for instance, if so how many, are there flower beds with covering walls close by, and so on.

Walkways or Pathways

Apart from trees other areas that will need concentrating on are walkways, stairs, decking areas and any other prominent features of the garden that you feel would need highlighting. Bushes are Fantastic too and look terrific when illuminated with up-lighting almost bringing them to life at night.

Well Lights are worth looking at for this too, they are buried into the ground, are inexpensive to buy and do an excllent job of highlighting select areas such as a bush.

Where walkways or pathways are concerned I very much like the idea of staggering ones led landscape lighting so that it is alternated on each side of the walkway or path. This looks very attractive I hope you will agree. You could even alternate with two different coloured lights i.e. one blue one red, and so on.

Low Voltage Lighting

For those of you fortunate enough to own a house with a large garden you may want to consider low voltage led landscape lighting. Low voltage lighting works by way of a transformer to decrease 120 volts mains current supply down to 12 volts. This type of lighting is very adaptable, relatively inexpensive and is fairly straightforward to install.

Tip: Where To Situate Your Garden Lighting

After you have purchased your lighting fixtures it is a good idea to try them in different areas. Quite often one can stumble upon by accident a better location or formation for your fixtures.

This applies particularly if you have purchased fixed lighting of the type say that bolts on to say a wall or a fence. By placing it in a temporary position (without bolting it on) you will be able move it to another location if you think that one is`nt right. This will save you time and energy and will help you get the best from your led landscape lighting.

Led flood lights are great for the security conscious and are one of the best deterrents when it comes to potential trespassers from venturing on to your property.

The motion sensor versions are best in my opinion as the light only comes on when someone or something comes within range of the infra red sensor. This means that the energy used is kept to a bear minimum which is also very eco-friendly. See below a very nice example of led flood lighting.

Led Landscape Lighting

There are many novelty lighting models when it comes to outdoor lighting. From resin ducks to frogs to garden gnomes that light up but one of my favourites is the cute little one seen pictured below. Very cute I think you will agree. These are really great but especially if you have kids:-).

Led Landscape Lighting

To Summarise

There is no doubt that a fine balance is needed when it comes to any kind of garden lighting which includes of course led landscape lighting. You want to ensure that all of the relevant areas are covered, such as trees, flower beds, shrubbery and nearby walls but you won`t want to annoy your neighbors by installing lights that glare or are directed at their windows.

The good news is that the garden is one place where you can experiment when it comes to lighting fixtures unlike indoor lighting for instance where you are fairly restricted as to where you can situate them.

Friendly Tip

A good tip is to take a look at some of the gardens in your neighbourhood at night and see how your neighbours have set out their garden lighting. Make a mental note of how a certain light effects a particular object, such as a bush for example, and then experiment in your garden to try to achieve the same effect in the desired locations. I wish you the very best of success and I`m sure that you will have an led landscape lighting set up to die for:-).
