Kitchen Worktop Areas Adequate Lighting. Do ensure that you have adequate illumination for you kitchen worktops. An extra led strip light, per-cabinet, will usually do the job although a nice kitchen track light with adjustable heads will be enough to illuminate the worktop area so that you and your family can prepare food and do other kitchen based activities in safety with sufficient lighting.
