DJ Lighting Equipment, DJ Laser Lights are Beautiful and Very Effective..DJ Lighting Equipment is such an important part of a dj`s outfit as it adds the very important “visual” element to the dj`s production. Next to the all important element of “sound” (music and the dj`s unique voice), there is nothing so vital as the lights for dj equipment. The Beginner But if you are just starting out as a dj then you can probably get away with a basic dj booth, some small led dj lighting, and a dj laser lights projector. In the first photo below is pictured some very nice dj lights. Very colourful dj lighting equipment. Something as simple as this gives a great visual effect as you can see. The projector pictured to the bottom right is what made this beautiful lighting effect:-) 
Led DJ lighting comes highly recommended. Led light bulbs are very tough and durable and last up 20 years. They are perfect for use in cycles (consistent on-off use). Much will depend on your budget but a nice led dj lighting booth (pictured below) can be picked up relatively cheaply if you are just starting out on your disc jockeying ventures.
Strobe lighting is commonly used as a part of dj lighting equipment. This type of lighting produces flashes of light. When for example it is shone onto a dance floor it gives the people dancing the effect of moving in slow motion. An amazing visual effect:-) This is superb for great visual effect but strobe lights are not good news for folks with epilepsy as it can sadly bring on an attack so a good idea is let people know by way of a notice board next to or near to your dj booth so that no one is caught unawares.
The really good news is that led strobe lights are cheap to buy, under $40 in fact. A dj friend gave me a good tip that I would like to share with you. Although this might seem slightly absurd at first glance it does make sense when it comes to light dj equipment. When he buys dj lighting equipment he doubles up and buys two of everything. That way he can take two of each piece of equipment to the venue and if one malfunctions (which can and does happen) he has one spare at hand to take its place. How professional is that:-). This might seem an expensive route to take but many dj`s get business by word of mouth and if their dj and lighting equipment fails the chances are that will be one job where any possible client recommendations would be zero. This would no doubt be magnified if the event was for something like say a Wedding Anniversary or an equally very important memorable occasion as it would be remembered, but for all the wrong reasons. And Finally.. Like most forms of lighting there are many different types of dj lighting equipment, for instance dj laser lights and others but with all kinds of lighting set-ups the key thing is getting the atmosphere or ambience right to suit the occasion.
