Bathroom Wall Lighting where your Home Lighting Layouts need that modern touch.

Bathroom Wall Lighting, exciting free information on all aspects of these lovely lighting fixtures, tips on where to install them and the different designs available to aid you in your Bathroom Lighting Design requirements..

Todays modern bathrooms tend to be more than just a room where we groom and wash ourselves so the Fixtures we choose need to reflect this by not only having the ability of illuminating the bathroom but to also be attractive and appealing to the eye.

Varying Models and Styles

As with most modern Lighting-Fixtures there are many different models available where these type of fixtures are concerned. In the past the choice was minimal and the light fitments it has to be said were quite bland and basic looking.

Lovely Bathroom-Wall-Lighting Example

In the photograph below is pictured a lovely example. The triple-light example is very attractive I think you will agree and covers both prerequisites of being aesthetically pleasing whilst being capable of illuminating to a high degree the bathroom where the fixture is installed..

In the above picture the lighting-fixture is situated above the bathroom mirror so that it allows the owner to groom in comfort and also to undertake other activities in the bathroom such as bathing or showering when not grooming themselves.

Safety in Mind!

One thing to remember when installing your fixture is that it is high enough to avoid any splash-back remembering that water and electricity do not mix. Safety is paramount where you and your family are concerned so please bear this in mind when planning your Bathroom-Lighting-Design.

Modern-Bathroom-Lighting as mentioned previously comes in lots of different styles and designs but the main principle remains the same in that your lighting should provide adequate illumination and be attractive to the eye.

Another Delightful Example

In the second photo below you will see two dainty and delightful looking Bathroom-Wall-Lighting examples which as you can see throw out a good level of illumination. They are positioned well above the vanity area and sink so there is no risk of splash-back (as advised earlier).

Light Bulbs

Low energy light bulbs are compatible with most modern lighting including bathroom lighting which is very good news. I would also highly recommend that you fit low energy light bulbs In all of your homes light fittings not just the ones situated in your bathroom.

Where light bulbs are concerned though I would advise that you try to work in reverse order. By this I mean that once you have chosen the model of Bathroom Wall Lighting you like I would then investigate further with your lighting fixture store as to which type of light bulbs the particular light fitting you have chosen will take.

Final Photogrpah

The final photograph below shows another fine example of Bathroom Wall Lighting. As you can see there are two, double-light wall lights. One thing to note is how high up on the wall they are positioned so as to avoid any mishaps with splashing water.

Dimmer Recommended

Finally, If your budget permits I would strongly recommend that you have a dimmer fitted. This will allow you to adjust the light level and change the mood and “ambience” in your bathroom in an instant.

If for example you wanted a warm relaxing bath after a hard days work then with a dimmer you could lower the light to a softer more subtle level and sooth away those aches and pains leftover from a busy day in the perfect atmosphere:-).

If you wanted to groom yourself then a higher level of light would be needed so at the turn of a wheel you simply raise the light to the desired brighter level. Do ensure though that you check with your lighting fixture store that the dimmer you choose will be compatible with your Bathroom Wall Lighting as with your light bulbs.
