Antique lighting, and unique lighting fixtures such as Antique Outdoor Lighting can be very costly it is true but reproduction lighting fixtures are a very good substitute and can be purchased cheaply without having to compromise on the end product.

Whether it be antique venetian, antique floor lamp, antique lantern, antique candle fixtures; period lighting really is a delight to behold. Antique-Wall-Lighting
antique wall lighting is a very good example of antique lighting. They come in gas form mainly but you can pick up good reproduction versions quite cheaply if budget is an issue. But even original antique wall lighting fixtures can be picked up in good condition for a few hundred dollars if you shop around. Antique Chandeliers
antique chandeliers are one of my favourite types of lighting fixture. From 3 lights up to hundreds of lights they really are beautiful pieces to behold and would make a handsome addition to most homes. Victorian Lighting Fixtures
victorian lighting fixtures named after Queen Victoria are another splendid lighting fixture from days gone by. As with most antique lighting fixtures there are reproduction models on the market but originals can sell for hundreds to many thousands of dollars. Outdoor Antique Lighting
Outdoor Antique lighting such as charming Outdoor Antique Pendant Lighting, particularly old gas versions are great for evoking memories of the past. Reproduction models can be picked up for less than $100 and they are terrific substitutes for the real thing. Reproduction Antique Lighting
Reproduction-Antique- lighting as with most modern lighting fixtures today comes in a wide variation to include both indoor and outdoor models.I love things from a bygone age, don`t you, but particularly antique-lighting as it holds such charm and quaint appeal. Reproduction-Antique-Lighting is no different. Fashions and Trends
Is`nt it strange how fashions and trends come and go because not too long ago this type of fixture would have most likely been considered as too out-dated and probably to some folks dare I say "tacky" to consider as lighting replacements for the home, but the trend seems to have now reversed and they are becoming increasingly popular. Because of the scarcity of this type of lighting though (in its original form) a better, more cost-effective option, is Reproduction-Antique-Lighting. Listed below are some other titles or terminologies for this type of fixture:- - Antique-Chandelier-Lighting

The downside, if there is one, of Reproduction (Repro), whether it comes to lighting or any other forms for that matter is that they are only copies so the quality and the appearance in many instances won`t be as good as the real thing but they are an excellent substitute and are usually no more expensive than contemporary lighting. When it comes to Repro Lighting the thing that stands out the most is the finish. For example a repro fixture that has say a 24Kt Gold finish won`t look as good in my opinion as say a nice fixture finished in antique brass or bronze. This type of lighting is suitable for most rooms of the home. They go particularly well and compliment Antique Furniture such as a nice dressing table, Antique Table and Chairs and so on. Antique-Outdoor-Lighting also known as Antique Exterior lighting in Repro form can also be picked up fairly cheaply and is an excellent way of adding style to your garden and home`s exterior. They can also be purchased to run on solar energy so you will be helping the environment to when opting for this class of lighting.
